If im trying to send a e-mail and i accidently press cancel when i was doing my spell check where would it be?

i was sending an e-mail and when i press spell check a word came up and it was telling me to switch and the word was spelled correctly and insted of me pressing send i accidently hit cancelled. i was wondering did it erase for good and i have to start over or was it placed some where?
